Met Gala 2026: Best Looks of the Night

The Met Gala once again took over New York at the iconic Met Gala, with celebrities arriving in some of the most memorable fashion moments of the year. Beyoncé was one of the highlights of the night. She returned in collaboration with longtime creative partner Olivier Rousteing. Their relationship has included Coachella looks, tour costumes, and a couture collection they worked on together, so this reunion felt like a continuation of that history. Rousteing, who recently left Balmain⁠, designed her Met Gala look. She also worked closely with her stylist Ty Hunter, who has been behind many of her most recognisable fashion moments. This year was extra special, Beyonce brought her daughter Blue Ivy Carter for her Met Gala debut. Rihanna also stood out with one of the biggest looks of the night, wearing Maison Margiela. She also shared a sweet moment on the carpet with Shinelle Jones from Today, which quickly circulated online alongside her look.

Kendall Jenner arrived in a sculptural look inspired by the Victory of Samothrace, designed by Zac Posen. It also brought attention on Posen’s return to fashion following his new role as Vice President of Creative at Gap Inc⁠. Ciara wore a look inspired by Nefertiti, the ancient Egyptian queen,designed by Celia Kritharioti. Lisa from BLACKPINK wore a design by Robert Wun, featuring a 3D-printed version of her own hand as part of the look, and she looked stunning. Another beautiful look was Jisoo, who made her Met Gala debut in Dior.
