Coachella Weekend Recap: Headliners, Surprise Guests & Viral Moments

Coachella this year featured major performances and surprise guest appearances, across both weekends. Lisa performed “Bad Angel” with Anyma, delivering one of the most interesting sets of the festival. The performance had a futuristic, electronic feel with stage production and lighting effects. She wore a custom “Omen” gown by Iris, adding a high fashion, cinematic look to the moment.

Justin Bieber was one of the official Coachella headliners, performing across both weekends with a full set of his biggest songs. His set included “Baby,” “Sorry,” “Where Are U Now,” and “Stay.” He also brought out several surprise guests throughout the show, including SZA (for “Snooze”), Big Sean, Wizkid and Tems (for “Essence”), The Kid LAROI (for “Stay”), Dijon, and Mk.gee. Another special moment was when Billie Eilish joined him on stage during “One Less Lonely Girl.”

Sabrina Carpenter also had a major Coachella moment as a headliner. She performed songs including “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” “Feather,” and “Juno.” During “Juno,” she brought out Madonna, and they performed “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer.”
