Paris Couture Week 2026: The Best Designers and Shows

Paris Haute Couture Week took place from Monday, January 26 to Thursday, January 29, 2026, bringing together established couture designers on the official Spring/Summer 2026 calendar. Across the week, each presented their latest collections on the runway. Christian Dior opened the official schedule with In Bloom, the first haute couture collection by creative director Jonathan Anderson staged at the Musée Rodin. The show drew a high‑profile audience, including Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence, Anya Taylor‑Joy, and Greta Lee. Dior’s show featured floral references incorporated into structured tailoring and draped garments.

At Chanel, creative director Matthieu Blazy presented his Spring/Summer 2026 couture collection at the Grand Palais, his first couture show for the brand. The collection included updated versions of the classic Chanel suit in silk mousseline. Later looks emphasized bird-inspired details, with garment shapes, textures, pleating and embroidery evoked feathers rather than using actual feather trims. The front row featured Nicole Kidman, Dua Lipa, Penélope Cruz, A$AP Rocky, Margaret Qualley, and Kim Go‑eun.

At Schiaparelli, creative director Daniel Roseberry opened the Paris Haute Couture Week schedule with his Spring/Summer 2026 collection, The Agony and The Ecstasy, at the Petit Palais. The collection featured sculptural garments inspired by animals and armor. Jewelry-inspired details were recreated in metal and crystals rather than real gemstones, referencing the 2025 Louvre heist. Some pieces used layers of fabric and embroidery to suggest wings or tails, adding movement as the models walked. Front-row guests included Teyana Taylor, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, Demi Moore, Jodie Turner‑Smith, and Leïla Bekhti.

Later in the week, Valentino, led by Alessandro Michele, presented its Spring/Summer 2026 couture collection Goddess Worship, with attendees including Dakota Johnson and Lily Allen. Elie Saab showed his Spring/Summer 2026 couture collection Golden Summer Nights of ’71, with Sabrina Elba, Cindy Bruna, and Hande Erçel in the front row. Rahul Mishra, the first Indian designer invited to Paris Haute Couture Week, returned for his second official show with his Spring/Summer 2026 collection Alchemy, focused on intricate handwork and techniques. Olandria Carthen attended his show, wearing his Fall 2025 “Heart of Gold” look. Robert Wun presented his Spring/Summer 2026 couture collection Valor: The Desire to Create, and the Courage to Carry On at the Lido, featuring tailored garments and dramatic presentation.
