Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026 showed why the Italian capital remains one of the most important cities in fashion. From Maria Grazia Chiuri’s return to Fendi to Kate Moss closing Gucci in a sparkling gown, the week featured major designer shows and new creative direction. Designers presented their Fall/Winter ready to wear collections across the runways, and many high profile guests attended the shows.
One of the biggest moments of the week was Maria Grazia Chiuri’s first show as Fendi’s Chief Creative Officer. Her return was a full-circle moment in a career that began at Fendi in 1989, where she worked in the accessories department and contributed to designs like the Baguette bag. After ten years at Fendi, she joined Valentino and later became co-creative director alongside Pierpaolo Piccioli. In 2016, she became the first woman to serve as Dior’s Creative Director for women’s collections, bringing commercial success and cultural influence to the Paris house. Her work referenced feminist ideas and included collaborations with artists. Returning to Fendi in 2026, she brought decades of experience back to the brand where she began. At Milan Fashion Week, her collection featured faux fur outerwear, structured coats, and eveningwear.
Prada also made headlines with its Fall/Winter 2026/27 show, led by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons. The collection focused on layering and creative textures, with knitwear, scarves, and garments presented on the runway. Front‑row guests included Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg with his wife Priscilla Chan, WNBA star Caitlin Clark, and skier‑model Eileen Gu. Supermodel Bella Hadid walked multiple looks at Prada, appearing four times on the runway during the season. Gucci also delivered one of the most memorable runway moments of the week. Creative director Demna opened with sleek, body‑con silhouettes and ended with Kate Moss closing the show in a sparkling, backless gown. The front row included Paris and Nicky Hilton, Donatella Versace, and Demi Moore.
Emporio Armani focused on tailoring and elegant ready-to-wear, with Kendall Jenner attending the show and sitting in the front row alongside actor Nicholas Galitzine. Ferragamo, led by creative director Maximilian Davis, presented a collection inspired by classic naval themes and thoughtful details, while Diesel returned with a runway by Glenn Martens showcasing innovative denim pieces and modern styling. Marni, under Belgian designer Meryll Rogge, presented updated classic silhouettes with playful touches and Moschino brought its signature fun and theatrical spirit to the official Milan Fashion Week schedule. Roberto Cavalli, led by creative director Fausto Puglisi, presented its Fall/Winter 2026 collection in Milan, built around a mostly black palette with layered materials, leather, and rich textures. Guests included Megan Thee Stallion, Coco Jones, and Olandria Carthen.
Bottega Veneta presented its Fall/Winter 2026 collection in Milan, blending structured tailoring with rich textures and layered materials, exploring a balance between architectural lines and softer elements on the runway. Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026 featured Chiuri’s return to Fendi, Gucci’s iconic finale with Kate Moss, Prada’s layered runway concepts, and Ferragamo’s thoughtful designs, once again proving why the city sets the tone for global fashion.
