Stars Gather at the 2026 Oscars Nominees Luncheon

The 2026 Oscars Nominees Luncheon took place on February 10 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, bringing together this year’s Academy Award contenders ahead of the 98th Oscars on March 15. The annual gathering, hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, is one of the final major events before Hollywood’s biggest night. Nearly all of the 230 nominees spanning all 24 Academy Award categories were in attendance, including both seasoned veterans and first-time nominees. Among those present were standout nominees such as Timothée Chalamet, who this year became the youngest person ever nominated for both Best Actor and Best Picture for Marty Supreme. Also in attendance were Emma Stone, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Hudson, Michael B. Jordan, Jessie Buckley, Elle Fanning and Rose Byrne, who arrived following her recent Golden Globe win.

One of the luncheon’s most well-known traditions is the annual class photo, where all the nominees gather for a group portrait. The event also gives nominees in other categories, including animated short filmmakers and casting directors, a chance to connect with actors and directors in a more relaxed setting. Academy President Lynette Howell Taylor congratulated the nominees and reminded them to enjoy the moment, while keeping their Oscar speeches short and heartfelt if their names are called. As each nominee’s name was read aloud, the room erupted in applause and cheers, showing the excitement of the afternoon.

The fashion at this year’s Oscars Nominees Luncheon had its own vibe. Emma Stone, nominated for Bugonia, wore a black blazer-style mini dress by Julie de Libran, paired with sheer tights and strappy black heels. Elle Fanning chose a tailored black Givenchy outfit designed by Sarah Burton. Kate Hudson turned heads in a red Lanvin dress by Peter Copping, while Rose Byrne wore Bottega Veneta trousers with a fitted top. Teyana Taylor wore a sheer black look from Cong Tri, complete with a sequined cape. Men’s fashion at the 2026 Oscars Nominees Luncheon ranged from classic tailoring to modern designs. Timothée Chalamet wore a blue double‑breasted suit by Givenchy, designed by Sarah Burton. Jacob Elordi appeared in a tailored suit from Valentino, while Wagner Moura wore a coordinated plum shirt, trousers, and overcoat from Zegna’s Spring 2026 collection. Michael B. Jordan attended in a custom double‑breasted suit by Balenciaga.
